Meet Dr. Daneshgar
Dr. Daneshgar graduated Cum Laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. After completing his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey, Dr. Daneshgar served as an assistant professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia University for two years. He was on the teaching staff for the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and is currently on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as a Clinical Instructor for the General Residency Program. He was Vice Chief of the Department of Surgery, Division of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Hes past President of the Beverly Hills Academy of Dentistry and past President of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Daneshgar is a member of numerous State and local organizations including California Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a Qualified Medical Examiner in the field of Oral Surgery for the State of California. Dr. Daneshgar is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1985. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has been involved in many charitable organizations including the Donated Dental Services providing free oral surgery treatment benefiting the ill and underprivileged in our area, the Federation of The Blind, Cedars Sinai Voluntary Residence Assistance, and most recently, HELPS International which is a non-profit non-denominational organization providing medical/dental care to the much needy people of rural Guatemala, Central America. He has written many articles which are published in Scientific Journals including the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Daneshgar has lectured in many organizations including Alpha Omega Fraternity, the Filipino Dental Society, and at Cedars Sinai Continuing Education Seminars. His practice involves Dental Implants, TMJ Surgery, Extractions of Wisdom Teeth, Jaw and Facial Reconstruction, and General Anesthesia.
Meet Dr. Lo
Dr. Lo graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry with honors at the top of his class and was recipient of the Outstanding International Student Award. He also obtained his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at U.S.C. and the Los Angeles County U.S.C. Medical Center. He further his post-residency experience by pursuing a two year surgical fellowship at the Pacific Clinical Research Foundation in San Diego, where he performed many major facial reconstructive and maxillofacial procedures at Tri City Medical Center and the Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas. During that period he was also a participating member of the surgical team with the Thousand Smile Foundation, a charity organization providing dental and surgical treatment to cleft palate patients in Ensenada , Mexico. Dr. Lo is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1993. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Californian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. Dr. Lo has published research articles in peer reviewed journals such at the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Journal of Oral Facial Pain. In addition to English, Dr. Lo also speaks fluent Chinese ( Cantonese ).
